Shiatsu and Herbal Treatments for Neck, Shoulders, and Back Pain
Saturday, September 11, 9:30-5, $80, at the Healing Circle

Please join Robert Canty and Vanessa Benway for this exciting introduction to a continuing series featuring Shiatsu and Herbal Treatments for acute and chronic conditions.

In this workshop we will address the causes of neck, shoulder, and back discomfort and then discuss and demonstrate specific Shiatsu techniques to remedy or alleviate the discomfort. These remedies will be primarily bodywork based but will include the use of herbal salves and poultices, Moxibustion, and Gua Sha. This one day workshop serves, too, as an introduction to Shiatsu and herbal treatments for those wishing to learn more about these eloquent healing systems.

Practitioners from all modalities are welcome and encouraged to register. Please, come share your ideas with us. Beginners are also welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you and celebrating together a lovely day of healing.

Shiatsu Share Evening, Aug. 17th, Tuesday, 7-9 pm

Come learn to give, and then receive, a basic full body traditional Shiatsu treatment.

Bobby and Vanessa, professional teacher-practitioners, lead you step by step through the form. There is no need for prior learning. Experienced practitioners from other modalities are also welcome.

This is a lovely way to learn and experience this ancient healing system. Give yourself a gift by receiving from another, and then give another the gift of you. This is the Shiatsu Share.

Is Your Weight or Health Holding You Back from a Life You Only Dream About?

fall date TBA ~ 7 - 8:15pm
Providence Healing Circle
~ By Donation~

What if I told you that there are four principles, that when used together, can transform your relationship with food and yourself and lead to life-long lasting changes in your health and your life?  Come to this free introductory talk where we'll explore these "Four Principles to Creating a Healthy Body and a Healthy Life":

.  Uncover your hidden beliefs about food so that you can break your old food habits and empower yourself to choose new ways of eating.

.  Incorporate changes gradually into your life-style so that you can feel the success of each step and feel excited to take on the next one.

.  Know the basics of what to eat and why so you can fuel your body with foods that will increase your energy, improve your physical health, help you lose weight, and leave you feeling fantastic.

.  Make your self-care a priority because when you do it creates the space to see your beliefs, creates the time to prepare healthy meals, and increases your desire to take the next steps.  When you make yourself a priority, living all the principles, and even life itself, becomes so much easier.

This talk is geared towards helping you come out of the fog when it comes to how you feel, how you eat, and how you treat yourself.  You'll walk out with simple principles and steps that when used together create powerful results - results that produce a way of life that allows you to feel your best, feel more in control, and feel at peace with your body and food.
